Extracts from St Michael's 150th Visitors' Book - Part 2

M McGrory with Dr Phillip Lee MP

Dr Phillip Lee, MP
I was very pleased and honoured to be invited to the opening of the new school’s garden. Both the children and the teachers at St Michael’s Primary School in Sandhurst were obviously very proud of their school. I was impressed by pupil’s outstanding achievements. The teaching environment supports and builds success for our future generations. I particularly appreciated the photograph of the children standing in the shape of ‘150’!

What a fantastic celebration! Lovely facts and memories to read.
Great work and achievement from the children and teachers. Thank you so much! Well done

We loved walking through the museum and listening to the brass band. The favourites in the museum was the film and the punishment book. The Goddard Boys entertained us a lot because they featured so much in the book. We’ll be back in the morning to see some more. We loved it! Thanks to everyone for all their time and effort

Fantastic ! I have just had a guided tour of all the displays that the children created (with a little help I am sure from their teachers) They show all time zones of the last 150years of St Michael’s. Well done to all of you and thanks

I currently have two children in Year 2(Hayden) and (Callum) in year 5 at St Michael’s.  I absolutely love this school. It’s community feel, ethics and values it instils in children are fantastic. I have made so many friends and my children have had an excellent start to their education. Please continue the good work for another 150 years

Leaving St Michael’s when my 4 children had left was so hard that i had to get a job there. I’ve got lots of lovely memories but they are mostly about how much fun it was. Laughter and learning all mixed up together. My 4 knew they were lucky and so do I!

Fantastic St. Michaels! Our whole family really enjoyed all of the 150th celebrations. Children and Staff alike worked so hard to make it such a wonderful occasion. With Caitlin now about to leave year 6 and Bailey arrive in Ducklings (I hope!), St Michaels continues to provide such a wonderful, friendly, safe and warm environment to help each and every child flourish. Thank you.
